Last Friday finally started the second half of the Bundesliga season 2013. Borussia played on Saturday in Hoffenheim.
After they had left the training camp in Dubai without defeat, the expectations were high.
Especially because Hoffenheim is the penultimate of the table and they played a weak first round.
But the game ended 1:1.
In one of the most boring games ever, Borussia had almost
no goal-chances.
After the break, the fine-tuning was not good. Especially the offensive, around the twelve million Euro man
"de Jong", had a really bad day.
They need to increase till next week, when there is the derby against Düsseldorf.
Hoffenheim was a very uncomfortable opponent and they countered very well.
In the end we have to be satisfied with the one point. :(
But 1:1 is no lose ;)
ReplyDeleteThe second half of the season will be very hard for Borussia. My forecast: A place in the midfield of the table at the end!
ReplyDeleteI adopt the view of my previous speaker Doubledee. For Borussia Mönchengladbach it is a very hard season. After the leavings of key players like Marco Reus, Dante and Roman Neustädter the team had many problems at the start of the season, but Coach Lucien Favre found a way to handle this. This year a place between seven and twelve would be great. The squad of Borussia is quite young and developable and will be more successful in the future.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion Gladbach is going to play a better season than before the winter break. All new players should be integrated and the persons leaving are replaced. Hope to see Gladbach in Europe next season. Good Luck

ReplyDeleteI also think that 0:0 was a good result at all. It was important for the team to win against Fortuna. So everything is still possible ;-)
